Then when the divorce was finalized because she found a man who treated her well she got custody of his son. Roja's son... is her stepson, she got 50/50 custody of a kid that isn't even hers) and I want to, I just have to find the time.                   // yep, the implication is that she knows her first husband ordered it. Her second husband was the father of her youngest daughter. Her eldest two are from her first marriage to who I will less than loving refer to as 'a total twat who she is happy she is divorced from.'  Canonical the divorce was messy but is also to me... kind of funny.
            
            I'm so excited to read it. It's so well written, and I'm so excited to see more of her. Santos seems iconic.

            Hello!

//Hiii! Welcome back!

The merman didn't seem to like the idea of staying around though. No doubt all this noise got someone's attention. But, sharks didn't seem to bother him at all. If anything, they stayed away. One too many pokes to the eyes or hits to their gills made them learn to stay well away. 
            
            It wasn't like he was around mutch either. Always wanting to explore more and seeing what else there was to find. It was probably a bit mortifying to see some clothes or other personal belonings float up, the things that could float that is. And anything that seemd like a hazard didn't last long either. Seems he knew how to sharpen shells to help cut big holes into nets so they wouldn't harm any other sea creature should they stumble into it.
            
            As for valuable cargo stored in boxes and barrel? If they weren't eatable or good, they simply got broke open and left to drift. Probably sad to see so much salt desolve away into the waters.

                  By now she'd simmered down, she was just irritated that her only sense of help didn't understand her. Not that she blamed him for that, it just had her a bit dejected. She'd thanked him for the knife, still staring at where the ship had been. By now it was long gone and taken by the sea. 
            
                  "I'm so fųcked aren't I?" She queried and looked over the side of the boat, resting her hands under under her chin and skimming her hands across the water. "I don't know why I bother, you can't understand me." Roja huffed and blew some hair out of her face.  "You've been kinder than I deserve." Well if there was ever a time to self reflect it was now, maybe this was karma.
