Your siren story (both versions) is one of my new favourites! It's well written and touching. Of course I would have loved an ending where they would've been happy together, but I'm also a big fan of bittersweet ones. (I can't seem to write happy endings myself, I always make them bittersweet. Maybe I just like feeling sad, Idk. )
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that the story is really great and definitely deserves more attention!

Currently revamping my Solitude of a Siren series... Actually just decided it would be a series of short stories. I've already done some editing of the prequel (renamed Spawning a Siren) and am in the process of rewriting SOAS.
