I am a new writer, trying to learn all the tricks in the book. I mainly write YA fantasy, but I also enjoy writing short stories in any genre.

* I am a massive Harry Potter fan.
* Apart from JK Rowling, Terry Pratchett and Brandon Sanderson are some of my favourite authors. 
* Besides reading, my hobbies are music (I play flute and piano) and video games. 
* I'm from the Netherlands, but I've just come back from living in the UK for three years. 
* I thought I just wrote fantasy, but then my first book turned out as a paranormal about a dead girl. 
* I studied psychology in an attempt to understand the human mind, and now I'm stuck trying to find a psychology job while I'm actually quite socially awkward...
* I am in the process of writing an awesome YA fantasy, titled The Root of Magic
