"     he    arches   his   back    slightly.    radiant   greens   narrows   down   at  the  photo.   eyes   squinted   to     get  a    better  view.  "  but    you're not hotter   or  prettier  than   this  guy.    he's     absolutely    gorgeous.     "      he    stands    up    to   beam  up   at   the   guy.     bleached  hands    on   the   side   of  his  head    like   a  pillow    /     as   he   slightly   leans   his frame.    " i  might    know   him     /    what   did   he   exactly  do?     and  what    do   I    get   in   return,  hm?  not  that  I  really  care  though"     the   madman    voices with     irritation  sneaking  it's  way  in   his  voice.

            achlys wasn't supposed to be here. that much he knew. this place, or club more specifically, that was tucked away in a discreet but somehow still crime-ridden nook of gotham seemed to be filled with people who were thieves and possibly murderers. though that 'possibly' soon became a 'definitely' whenever he came across a section of it that was isolated from the other's and saw him: the joker. achlys supposed being in his presence should've made him at least slightly anxious, but it didn't. perhaps it was because of the adrenaline he was feeling? he didn't know, though all his mind could focus on at the moment was finding the man who he had run after and lost somewhere in here. achlys unintentionally ignored most of what he was saying, opening his phone and showing him a photo of the guy he was after; a man with curly blonde hair, whom looked to be wearing some sort of trench coat, " okay -- well, i'm not going to kill you. i need to know whether you saw this guy pass through here or not. " the brunette eyes darted up from the floor ( examining it for any blood stains, as the man was bleeding ) to the joker and quickly wiped off the equally as conspicuous blood underneath his nose, " you may not know who he is, but i'll give you something in return if you can answer that. he's been lying to me about something very important... and i'm / not / just going to let him get off scot-free for doing that. "

            achlys was in his own little world until the other spoke to him. though, this wasn't exactly unusual for him whenever he was tired. the brunet blinked several times before a well-meaning smile tugged at his lips, " oh... yeah. i only had the one pair before, but i figured it might be time for a change, you know? " they were an entirely different color than the ones he wore during his last visit: now a navy blue, rather than black. " do you like them? "
