Hi there!

I'm a writer of stage plays, fiction and non-fiction. I like just about any story that's well-told, but I particularly enjoy reading and writing humour, adventure, nature/animal stories, and speculative fiction.

I'm a big fan of Neil Gaiman, Meg Rosoff, Kenneth Oppel, Katherine Applegate, M.T. Anderson, E.B. White, Tom King, and too many other authors to list them all here.

I'm also a big fan of birds. And nature in general, really. I'm one of those people with binoculars who stand around in parks getting neck cramps.

My stage plays have been workshopped in Toronto and produced in Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Halifax, Chicago, New York, and Aberdeen (South Dakota, not Scotland). "Model Citizen", posted here, was my first published short story; 2018 marked the first time my writing was illustrated for a comic anthology, "Osgoode as Gold: Toronto Comics Anthology Volume 5"; and in 2019 I had my first published children's poems appear in "Dragons of the Prime: Poems About Dinosaurs".
