@beefwellington_ OHH okay but lowkey it's the most unimportant aspect of the story so it'd be a good idea to get rid of that and just let people figure out what happened

@js-aprince Maybe it was in the execution, or just my interpretation as a viewer. I think I recall them going to the swimming pool some times and with Kim, at that. But the human brain is complex. Which is why I can't like for sure say "it explains her tendencies well and has always somehow been a part of her character" or simply, "it's like a sudden subplot". I'm leaning more towards the latter which is why I want to ask for your insights 'cause I want to know the other perspectives.

@LoveforMarichat Depending on the person or severity, it can be hard to distinguish if they do have a buildup of PTSD or not. In Marinette’s case, she was able to avoid the feeling of what happened with Kim and Chloe because she didn’t have anything to remind her of it? Until she was in a relationship but her nerves finally overtook and she remembered what really happened as if she didn’t remember really.

@LoveforMarichat I hate how instead of that mental illness allowing us to empathize with the character and understand them, it felt like a justification of her stalker-ish tendencies rather than an explanation:(
