I am a proud mother of three grown children. Grandmother to nine! My family has run a great restaurant In Olympia , Washington for 35 years. We work hard, together. That is very satisfying and rewarding. Someday I hope to write a story about our experiences, good and bad. I love gardening, cooking, but mostly reading. I joined Wattpad in July of 2014, trolling for free stories. Much to my surprise it is so much more! I must have read a half dozen stories here before I understood the commenting and voting.
I have been awed by many authors here. I commented one day to @Hobnails, Peter Thomson, that I really enjoyed his story, The Cousins, and really was dying to try writing myself. Peter was very positive, helpful and dedicated chapters of his book to me, giving me a gentle nudge to post the first part of my story that I'd sent to him for review. So... Here goes!
