April 15th 2011, I wrote my very first novel "Love has a Price" which was originally named Trapped.
I first discovered my love for urban fictional books when I was 14 years old, I always loved to play virtual chatting online games such as IMVU or Meez and around this time I was getting into a lot of trouble at home and my mom would take away my laptop for punishment.
So I had nothing to do, but read and at first I would read the Bluford Series books but one day I was in my sister's room and I stumbled upon this book by Ashley & JaQuavius called "The Prada Plan" and OMG let me tell you, at the time it was one of the best books I ever read in my life.
As time went on my older cousin she collected alot of urban books by Ashley & JaQuavius & Nisa Santiago and I would always borrow her books and it got to a point where I read all of her books and had nothing else to read.
So, one day I was bored and I thought it would be really cool if I could write my own book, so I picked up a notebook and a pen and went to writing-- and that's how "Love has a Price" came about.
I had finished that book and then went onto write another book called "Life in the fast lane" which I have yet to post on Wattpad and then I created the book "Together Again"
I ended up discovering Wattpad through a really good friend in high school, my senior year (2014) and the funny thing was I had came across this app before but didn't know I could publish my own books on here.
So, once she told me I was like YES! No one has to borrow my notebook anymore to read my books. At the time alot of people knew about my writing but Wattpad was a better way for me to showcase my work and get feedback and I am forever grateful for this app.
