Work has been hard. Winter surge is insane. My hospital is at 130-150% bed capacity. Which means all our pre-existing beds are full and we are putting out extra beds because there are so many sick patients and everyone takes so long to recover. So many pneumonias. Four deaths in a week from bad chest infections. The Doctor Will See You Now may take on a more ranty tone in the upcoming chapters as a result.
@KatrinHollister hold in there, just another 2 more months of "winter pressures" and things will slowly trickle back to the regular level of nhs mayhem
I was locuming in a&e on boxing day, it was absolutely hectic! Also, GP life is none stop viral infections since i got back I'm anxious to see what AMU has in store for me from February
