K. A. Hawksley

Hi, I'm K.A.Hawksley (previously JEHallows), a misunderstood eldritch being stuck in the body of an unforgivably British, 30-something female. My hopelessly romantic mind spends too much time daydreaming about scenarios that will never happen and people who don't exist, but I call it "plot development". My stories have a sprinkling of magic, a scintilla of darkness and a bucket-load of angst. I write about love in its many guises and like to explore the darker sides of humanity. Although I aim to make you cry, I also want you to smile; there's no place for fear and drama without humour. I adore rogues and anti-heroes, fierce females and morally grey villains. 


  A Photography & English literature graduate, I have a love of Gothic novels, history, mythology, art, fantasy and fairytales. When not writing or thinking about writing, I have in my hands either a book, a camera or a game console controller.
