hey guys, ive decided i need to be serious about writing and do something career-wise about it to make my life more enjoyable. i have changed my major so so many times and have not enjoyed any of them that i’ve decided even though writing doesn’t every guarantee a lot of income, im gonna try for a degree that allows me to do what i actually love to do - to write - i’ve discovered that writing brings me the most joy and when i’m doing other things i’m simply not as happy.
in order to make this possible i’ve decided to hire an editor to go through my old works, however that will mean me moving those to patreon in order to make enough money to pay for editing and such. i’ll still keep current works up as i edit them, but once they’re edited i’ll move them over to patreon. i’m sorry if that’s not sustainable for you guys, i truly just need to find a way to be able to make some sort of a living doing this, and opening up my future to writing professionally is the only way i can think of that being possible. moving over to patreon will allow me to update more regularly however, as making even a little bit of money will allow me to reduce my hours at my current job which takes up so much of my time, and do what i love (write).
