In anticipation of the Spooky Season, I'm writing a horror story to get my ghosts and goblins on.
SHE ATE MY HEART is Jennifer's Body meets the classic horror film Halloween (1978), except these final girls are Black, queer, and more than a little dangerous all by themselves.
Jaela (JL) Thompson and Heron Prescott are twentysomething paranormal investigators exploring the abandoned, rusted-out corners of their former steel mill town, Mortland, Ohio. Between JL's overnight shifts in the Mortland Hospital morgue and Heron's ride-share and food delivery business, the former high school besties only get to spend time together on their weekend jaunts to the condemned mines and mills that once kept Mortland fed and are starving the shabby post-industrial town to death now they're gone. But suddenly, the bodies are piling up in the streets, and the police can't catch what they can't see. It's time for Mortland Supernatural's finest to take a swing at the case. Every now and then, it takes a monster to catch a monster. Or maybe even two.

If you receive a message like this, especially one including an unusual link, DO NOT CLICK the link. Report the user and message to Wattpad immediately. Better safe than sorry.
If this does happen to you, contact Wattpad immediately. It may be possible to restore your account.
