So I'll be honest with you guys, I'm not loving Metamorphosis. I'm struggling to write it when I have time because I'm not enjoying it, but I love the characters and I want to tell their story and I owe it to them, to myself, and to y'all to finish. I can continue the storyline as is, but the chapters are going to be a while, or I can rewrite it. Tell me what y'all think, and if I do re-write it if there's anything, in particular, you'd want to see.

@HeartfullyYours I really enjoyed the first book and binge-read it yesterday. I am halfway through Metamorphosis. I find going between the 3 POVs more difficult to read than the first book. Also, did they ever say why some of these kids didn't know they were "special"? I mean were they just kept from it on purpose? If his dad really is a hunter, did his dad know about his mom (and then him) and choose not to tell him?

Just published chapter 19 of Metamorphosis. Did I finish the chapter on Tuesday? Yes. Did I plan to post it around noon? Also yes. Did I get distracted by my adorable puppers and forget until 10:00 PM? Deeeeeffffiiiinitely noooot. That totally didn't happen.

It’s my 18th birthday!!!

I’m looking forward the freedom that comes with being an adult, but I’m looking forward to the civic rights that come with it much, much more. I’ve always believed and stood for equal rights and kind treatment of others without judgement. That’s something that’s important to me. The current state of the government and of America is something that goes against all of that. The blatant mistreatment, both from a legal, governmental and personal standpoint of people of color, Native Americans, women, LGBTQ+ (happy pride month y’all ️‍) and so many more oppressed, underrepresented and misrepresented groups of people is something I can’t stand for. We can’t tackle all of it right now, but none of us (minorities as well as majorities) can truly call ourselves free when it’s on the backs of somebody else. And the Black Community has suffered for far, far too long.

I will be attending Black Lives Matter protests. I urge all of you to do the same, as well as donating and spreading information regarding systemic racism and what you ( yes, /you/ who is reading this) can do to help.

Here are links to places to donate. To know that even $1 is going to support the movement is enough to make my 18th birthday a good one.
