          I'm okay, it was just me and my step dad inside the house at the time and we both got out. I have 4 cats and luckily they managed to get them out too, but it was so scary seeing the house burn and know they were still inside. We're gunna take them to the vet later and make sure they're all good. 
          
          The house is entirely destroyed- the whole back of the house (where the fire started) is completely burned away, but I was lucky that my bedroom was at the farthest end of the house and it only got smoke damage, so there might be a few things I can salvage. 
          
          We don't know how it started or why the smoke alarms didn't go off, but they're investigating it now and it will take a month. The house itself will take a year to be rebuilt, so I'm living with my dad for the time being.
