Here’s my story section. I hope you like it!
“There was a time when people on Earth and people on Desalia were friends. But that was before a major difference was brought to light. Desalians may look the same as the people from earth, but they had their own secret, and when that secret got out they had to flee back to their home planet and their friendship with the people of earth was broken. Those who learned the secret are no longer alive as they had already been old when they learned the secret. Now the people from earth know nothing of our abilities, and they can only dream to have what we have.” My Grandma told me as I sat in front of her.
“What ability do we have that they don’t, Grandma?” I asked, not understanding what she was talking about. All the adults were always talking about how they were different from the humans but would never say anything more when the kids were around.
“Well my dear Ethan. I am going to tell you, but you have to promise that you won’t tell anyone else okay?” She asked seriously.
“Of course Grandma!” I sat a little taller, excited to know and learn, what she said changed my whole life.
