Gracelyn Pine

Gracelyn Pine is an undergraduate student in Writing & Applied Arts in the Great Lakes Region of the United States. She is a fantasy, scifi, and poetry writer, having had some of her short stories and poetry published by two colleges' literary and art journals. When she graduates, she would like to gain an occupation in writing and editing for small businesses and nonprofits.

At the age of fourteen, she began teaching herself to write fiction. In college, she grew to love both narrative and autobiographical essays as well as poetry. Much of her work (yet unpublished) is loosely based on her experiences with animals in the farming industry, troubled family relationships, and a longing to escape to an unrealistic reality filled with faery-like creatures.

When she's not writing, Gracelyn spends her time caring for her young son, walking nature trails with her husband, rough-housing with her terribly misbehaved cats, or staring out a window in hopes the sun will someday shine again.
