Somehow, I got featured in the latest chapter of the Werewolf Week 2023 book with Blaze in the Darkness. Pretty neat. Thank you to the team for picking me alongside four other highly talented writers.
          	
          	It's been three years since that book. Only recently have I managed to finish my second novella; a completely different setting/series, alas, but still pretty neat. I hope to return to the Bottled series eventually and make them proper novels. For now, I'm enjoying life in my cosy house with my many books, my cats, and my worryingly large amount of blankets. While I still work on stories, it's mostly for tabletop roleplaying games and improvisation theatre events (LARP). It's good this way. Strange how much I've grown up in the past three years, going from a confused teen to an adult with their own home to take care of. I suppose that's life, eh?

@FireAlwaysReturns When I found writing and editing the technical docs more fun, I knew it might be time to put the pen down. I guess this might mean I haven't the soul of a true writer, but I'm good with that.
            
            Bummer you aren't posting the new one, but glad you're pleased with what you've written. I'll admit, it sounds fascinating! If you ever make it public, let me know.
            
            I understand about Xaray. Occasionally we talk about it but I'll just go with the ending in my head which was a happy one. But big drat that you never killed off that crazy unicorn. I'll stick that one in the happy ending in my head too. Keep taking care of you, so happy you're better!

@RogueWriter55 You're going on hiatus, huh? How long do you reckon you'll be out of it? We writers can never stay away for too long.
            
            As for the new story, I don't think I'll be posting it. It's a bit of a passion project of mine, and I don't want to accidentally offend people by misrepresentation of physical health issues (which is what the MC struggles with), since I only have mental health ones. Other than that, I'm pretty pleased, though. It's coming together to be a nice novella.
            
            And no, Xaray was never finished :( I fell ill right before the ending and never could get myself to complete it. I've been sticking with short stories ever since, and this novella is one of my first steps toward larger works. I think I might just stick with novellas for a while.

            Actually, I'll finish up current projects and declare my writing journey as 'on hiatus', which gives me more time to dig into your new story! It sounds... delicious! You know I'm a fan of your writings so consider me a reader!

I've dropped by your profile occasionally, hoping and praying and just WOW! I've been fine, writing is going okay... just hiding from covid!

@RogueWriter55 I still live. Somehow. Things have gotten better, but it's a daily struggle, and I admit I haven't been writing much, though I have been slowly editing TFX with the intent to finish the book.
            
            Have you been okay too? Has writing been going well?

@RogueWriter55 Heya! I saw you posted a new book, and I just had to drop a vote. I admit I didn't read it properly since I was about to sleep, but I'm looking forward to more of your work. The seas are still pretty rough over here, but I'm hoping things will get better soon. Thank you for remembering me <3 I hope things are alright where you are too.
