@shay2878 It definitely can be a huge change! Just visiting for the weekend a few weeks ago I was like yeah we definitely are in for a big change. But I loved it for the time I was there. Thankfully we live in a time where video calls are a thing so we won’t be too disconnected from our family. I’m sorry to hear about your mom my condolences. That’s how I try to look at it at least I’ll have him ride or die for sure!

@BrooklynMHM I get that. It was like that when I went to Washington state. I only new Mississippi so it was a WHOLE adjustment. I went right before Christmas so I got to see My first snow ever! It was back before cell phones like now so my momma bought me me att minutes cards so I could talk to her all the time. My cousin even sent me grits so I wouldn't have to eat cream of wheat. I also introduced my friends to sweet tea lol. I'm really close to all my family too. Even more so since my mom died almost 2 years ago. It's ok to be terrified and nervous but don't let that stop you from experiencing new and exciting things. Plus you atleast have your brother there with you. Ride or die family is what we call it down here

@shay2878 I’m definitely a mix of terrified and excited lol. Colorado is all I know. And we’re super close with our family so leaving them all behind has been tough already for my brother. And I know it’ll be the same for me. But I’m ready to experience something new.
