@_Gods_Child_ He’s been teaching me that it is much better to sit, rest in him and surrender to his timing than to rush into something when it isn’t time yet.

Don’t underestimate the power of faith filled prayer. As Jesus said, faith as big as a mustard seed can move mountains. Even when we can’t see a way, having faith and trusting God gives him the power to prove his faithfulness to us.

If all you have to offer God is faith, you have everything you need. All he wants is to have a relationship filled with faith and trust with you.

Through faith, the Holy Spirit can speak. Through trust, he can work. He can fill you with an unexplainable peace. Through simple trust and faith on our part, he can do wonderful things in our lives.

Don’t take trust and faith in God for granted. It can do so much more than you know.

To Jesus, it doesn’t matter if you’ve lived in sin all your life. If you repent and believe in his power, you are transformed into a new creation. Your past is BEHIND you. You are NOT defined by it.

Jesus doesn’t judge you based on your past.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
          ‭‭
          Psalm‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

In the presence of God, there is a peace and a joy that surpasses all understanding. When we lift our eyes and hearts with praise, we magnify the name of our Lord and Father higher than the weight of life’s problems.

We should learn to take praise more seriously because what it does is lift up the might of God’s power higher than our own desires and needs. It creates a humbleness in our hearts that helps us recognize and remember that it is not by our power that things unfold as they do.

There is LITTLE we can do to control life’s moments, no matter how good or bad they turn out to be. Praise and worship help us see that all things work together for those who are called according to the purpose of God. Praise and worship creates a humility that only the Holy Spirit can give.

Praise helps us remember that we aren’t in control of our own lives. Even if we tried, we’d be burnt out and broken in a heartbeat. Praise is a time to be thankful that there is Someone who knows what we need and prepares it for us even before we know it ourselves.

I'm reading the YouVersion plan 'No More Self-Hate'.
          https://www.bible.com/en/reading-plans/30381

You know, until I started reading it, I didn’t realize how deeply planted the root of self hatred was in me. I knew I struggled with it and I took it before the Lord, but I didn’t really see just how deep it went.

You see, many of us have sins in our lives that we don’t even realize we have until the Holy Spirit brings it into the light.

But there’s an important point we can’t miss. Yes, as people, we struggle with sin, but there is another aspect we cannot miss.

Demons feed off our sin. What can start as fleshly sin problem, the demons can turn into something that completely controls us. They know that if they can get our lives to be consumed by sin, we will put more time into encouraging that sin and less time walking in the purpose that God has called us to.

By snatching that single moment of weakness, the demons can turn us away from our purpose by deceiving us into thinking that we aren’t worthy enough, not experienced enough, that we didn’t hear God the way we thought we did.

But there’s one and only one thing we need to do. We need to seek God and all that sinful control will no longer have the control. God will. That self hatred will change to joy, identity, and love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus is Lord. Satan is not. We cannot serve two masters faithfully.

          (Ephesians 6:12)

@BloomMinistries I love this, thank you for sharing. I'm sorry you're dealing with self hate though but glad you're realizing God is telling you no. I struggle a lot with anxiety and fretting which the Bible says not to do, it's something where Satan is really trying to get a hold on me. But this helps, so thank you <3

Hey friends, this is Lily @lilyflower1603

I apologize for not being very active here, but me and my family have been through a lot of Godly learning curves lately. He’s been growing and teaching us together as a family as well as in our personal relationships with him and Satan isn’t liking it. His attacks have been strong because of what we are doing for God and we have sustained many wounds from this battle.

But, because we are learning to walk by faith and listen for the voice of God, our wounds are healing, praise God.

Anyway, I hope and pray that God will continue to use me through this ministry to walk in the calling and purpose he has given me. I’m thankful to have this ministry and I praise the name of Jesus for the chance he has given me here to proclaim the power of his great love and sacrifice.
