It is ALWAYS right to fight against racism and discrimination. I live in a small town area with few people of colour, so I've never witnessed discrimination, but if you do, stand up (just like you would when you witness bullying)! Even if you're not American, sign petitions, educate yourself and help however you can (https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/ ) because racism is everywhere and it shouldn't. Let's make 2020 the year of change!
"Writing's 10% inspiration and 90% transpiration."
Some say literature can change the world. I believe it can't, but it can change people and people change the world.
Writing's my lifeline, but reading's easier (I'm a procrastinator), so for now, it's mainly short stories and poetry. Writing enables me to get to know the world and myself and to handle it all.
Since I'm Belgian (Flemish), I mostly write in Dutch, but I have a bunch of LGBT+ one-shots and an ongoing novella in English. If you write something LGBT+ (and it's not horror/thriller), hit me up for a critique exchange.
I am part of the rainbow (queer/pan and ace spectrum) and I celebrate my fellow rainbow people on this profile, so send me a message if you want to!
I'm also a violinist and a classical music nerd (there are very few non-classical songs I like) and I hardly watch any movies/series/shows, so don't expect that kind of references. I'm a literature and language girl all around (I'm doing my bachelor in Ancient Greek and Latin) and I love history and art and philosophy and science and anything intellectual, so you're welcome if you want to chat about those topics.
