Astarion in BG3 is soooooooo manipulative like oh my goodness

So I have once more done the deep dive into Loki's family and psychology, and I was just wondering what everyone thinks about another Loki fic? I haven;t done them much, or often, but I've been *inspired*. Also I may still just be pissed off that the first thing Thor does on Earth is to scare the shit out of his brother, yank him out of his safety straps, grab him by the neck, fly off, and then full body drop him into a cliffside before demanding to know where the tesseract is.
          Like bro, how about  a 'oh youre alive what the fuck happened, we couldn't see you you dropped into the void and now youve suddenly had a huge change in personality and are behaving like a manic crazy person, and have a space army nobody knew about until Odin just so convienently told you aboud but wait we don't see any hint of them yet so whats going on?' no just a where is the tesseract, along with some healthy threats and some half sincere plea grab. Sure maybe thor was sincere in his wanting Loki home, but since he started the convo the way he did it didn't really make it seem that way.
          Anyways I want to do a fic where the avengers begin to realize how screwy Loki's entire family is and begin to sympathize with his having to deal with a planet of arrogant jock filled miscreants by himself for a thousand years, while also realizing Loki is actually like...really young. 
          I read a fic kinda about the same thing, and it seemed interesting but I haven't found anymore which is sorta depressing. So lemme know

RASALAS
          
          With a glare and a hiss Rasalas grabbed the nearest paperback and lobbed it at that smug face. How dare he? The gall of him. Unfortunately, Luke deftly dodged his projectile, though not quite fast enough as it slightly scraped the edge of his arm, huffing in annoyance as a bit of blood welled to the surface.  
          
          “It isn’t my fault!” That did nothing to curb the frustration he was feeling and with a roll of his eyes it was made clear he did not believe a word of what was being told to him. Luke noticed the subtle change in body posture, reminding him off handedly of a panther, or perhaps a Serval, elegant but deadly and too unassuming that it wasn’t noted until one was already dead. Luke lifted his hands hastily, breathing deep as he tried to expand before his friend totally lost his cool. “I tried to stop him, but he rushed to the door before I could even do anything!” The words seemed to be pulled from his lips as he tried in vain to stem the anger. “I will work on it with him, but please, remember they are still downstairs! You don’t want to give them anymore reason to come looking especially since they don’t have any good reason to stay.”

Sirius drug Regulus to the Potters' when he decided to leave. Quite against his will, as it were. Now that he is in a different household, he has to attempt to adapt to the strangeness of these new people. On the bright side Barty has decided to be his supportive if stubborn self, and has practically invited himself to stay for the duration of Regulus' stay. 
          As for James, he doesn't know why, but for some reason, Sirius seems...different. Perhaps it is because he can see the real relationship between the Black brothers, or maybe it is that he is actually getting to know Regulus, rather than getting to know him through what Sirius says about him...or maybe it was both, but seeing it brings a bad taste to his mouth, and a difference in how he sees his best friend.
          Remus doesn't know what to think...but recently seeing how Sirius talks and acts with his brother has left him questioning everything he knows, and there isn't a single soul he can tell...except maybe the person making him question what he knows about his boyfriend.
          Sirius is frustrated. He saved his brother from their parents and yet he is still being incredibly ungrateful. He really just doesn't know what to think or do about it, and it is the most frustrating thing.

Anyone else annoyed to hell and back by all the ads thatve cropped up on Wattpad lately? It’s been a slow decent for the last couple of years but now it’s just ridiculous. 
          This is why ao3 is my primary. Barring the general better tagging and searching system there’s no bloody ads

I have to create a piece for my masters program to submit as consideration to even get in. I’ve been working on it in my fiction workshop classes and I thought it was pretty good so I figured I’d continue it rather than just scrapping like I usually do with originals. It will be extremely slow going, as I haven’t really done an original piece in a very long time and the ones I had were handwritten and never released to public. Pretty sure I burned them in a bonfire in a downward spiral of disgust. I’m thinking of making a Patreon for this book specifically. Patreon is all about early access and influencing the storyline and voting and asking questions and that sort of stuff which is a lot easier since it’s not going to be actively published for at least a year or two, imma wait until it’s totally finished. I’ve got the first chapter done, it’s what I was working on this whole term, I’ll let you guys know the details the more I think on it. Imma ask my husband his own thoughts on it and see what he thinks I should do too.
