I decided to combine my passions of history, literature and my knowledge of ancient and modern warfare to bring to life the sweeping epic fantasy story, 'The Warspite Series'.

Overview:
The fractious "Old Globe" is in a time of shifting ideology. Really good read, one thing I like in a book is a story that grabs you straight away and throws you into the action. It is extremely well written, especially the battle scenes which are very descriptive and brings the whole world to life. It felt like I was standing there in the battle watching all the action unfold before my eyes. The author has created very strong characters who each have their own very different and strong personalities, both good and evil. It made want to carry on reading to find out their backgrounds and how they got to where they are, which is why I will definitely be buying the second book and look forward to delving deeper into the Warspite Series. All in all a great book which once you start reading will be finished before you know it as you keep reading to find out what happens next.
