World War 3 is coming to an end. Irreversible damage has taken a planetary toll. With most of society in total collapse, the U.S. government has lost control over multiple major cities. In a desperate attempt to regain control and rebuild civilization, the United States military launches an Operation dubbed "Ragnarok". A nation wide assault to regain all the cities lost during the civil uprising. A young Army recruit named Sanders is sent to Atlanta, Georgia as part of a massive assault force to reclaim the city. During his first bloody combat experiemce, things go wrong and his life is plunged in the hands of mercenaris called "Donkeys." Men who capitalize on the civil conflict, doing the dirty work for rival factions warring over city control. Caught in the middle of the chaotic conflict of rival factions and government forces, Sanders and his mercenary captives must survive. What are these mercenaries doing here? What do they want with Sanders? Who do they work for? These are the questions Sanders must ponder, but with wrist tied behind his back and no weapon. He must rely on his captors for a chance at survival.

After WW3 the world is ravaged by zombies, their disease caused by chemical and atomic warfare. Half of the population of the United States is diminished by Plague Z7, while the other deaths are caused from too much exposure to radiation and bombings during the war.
