In the undetermined future, after the rapid collapse of human society due to unstable worldwide economies, humanity creates a perfect logical being, an AI with no name. It begins searching for a perfect society, including economy, class structure, and hierarchy. It begins running simulations, using two hundred occupants of all different demographics and backgrounds, to find "the most accommodating society for everyone." Using a mental program to stimulate a shared reality, it can test each system in the span of three days on average. It runs each simulation to three generations, (assuming they last that long), and apathetically grades each system's success. But most societies collapse quickly, for reasons explained. Be it human greed, a lack of motivation, and our own inherent human prejudices and character flaws. In this fast-paced novel that you'll only understand half of, it explains why and if there can ever truly be a Perfect Society. Props to my Grandpa for making me write this one. #4 Simulations #7 Simulations #12 Report #67 Artificialintelligence #122 Artificialintelligence

Cassie is a young girl who has a very glass-half-empty take on life. She's a realist in her eyes, she's a pessimist in others', and she's rarely in a good mood. An orphan at the ripe age of 18, Cassie has decided to go out into the world. She's going to move to New York! Cliche? Yes. However, she's not one for dreams. Cassie's been offered a job. A famous journalist has remarked on her rather realistic and downright saddening views. He believes she has what it takes to be a famous journalist, and maybe to change the world a little bit while she's at it (even if she's just a little bit depressing). But, living in a new city with a new set of people, who's to say a person won't come along that will change her mind?

Two angsty pessimistic teenagers, one with mild Anger Issues and another with strong liberal opinions. Together we have created a book to complain about everything and everything that annoys us (so basically white girls bitching about stupid things). So instead of going "OMG YOU DONT GET, ME THIS ISN’T A PHASE, UGH THIS IS THE REAL ME," to your non-understanding mother and racist family members, you can relate to this.

It's so goddamn hard to live; it's especially hard in a world where no one understands you... or at least when you perceive the world to fail in understanding you. Even harder is thinking that you'll be able to find a way out of the miserable hole that yourself and the people around you have managed to put you in. Despite a few good people trying to pull you out, it feels so immeasurably impossible because each time you seem to take a step forward, the conveyer belt of life pulls you back two. It's all so troublesome, in fact, that it's almost impossible to put into words... almost... I tried. I tried so hard to portray how I tried so hard to bring myself up after I tried so hard to not let myself fall. But I fell anyway. I fell indefinitely. I fell infinitely - or, at least, I perceived it to be so. These are my falls.
