Hi! *waves* I'm Jeanine, a nocturnal, cisgender 🏳️🌈 Slytherclaw with a very healthy werewolf fetish who loves Prosecco, tofu and dark chocolate. There's a good chance I might be a vampire.
I'm a whirlygirl, a dreamer, a writer, an animal lover, a vegan, and a feminist. For those of you confused by the true meaning of feminism, it is the "advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes". Not misandry.
Mostly I write werewolf and vampire stories with romantic elements, but with enough gothic influence to make them a touch dark and sensual.
You can also find me, Aviatrix (and my novel, Thorne Bay) on Radish.

A big thanks to all whose reads, votes and comments have given "Dark Age Maiden" its highest ranking of #2 in historical fiction. Now, it has over a half million reads. Didn't know you would like it so much.
I've been fortunate, and appreciate when you check out one of my stories. Just can't seem to get away from writing about girls and guys, men and women. Mostly stories about love with adventure. Plus some short tales. I like and enjoy being around people, so you can expect happy endings. Other times, like being alone so I can write.
Glad for new authors who put their ideas out there for all to see. One of my favorites did only one short thing, but it was so good. Wish she would do more.
Currently, am posting two new stories, "Her Rebel Heart," nearing completion, is the story of Jenny, who loves a Confederate soldier. How can she get him to realize that she no longer the young girl he knew in school? Then, unexpectedly, she meets a Union captain. When the fighting is over, who will capture her heart?
The second is "Mist on the Moon," the tale of a girl and a prince, and much more, taking place during the Middle Ages.
Plan is to post new parts to Rebel Heart on Fridays. Have been adding parts to Mist on the Moon on Wednesdays.
By the way, your votes help the stories to be seen by others. Love your comments. Some are awesome! My personal best to you.
Sandra Lake is the author of the 'Sons of The North' Romance Series, published by Berkley Books/Pengion Group. Her debut Viking inspired romance takes readers to medieval Scandinavia, where the climate is chilly, but the men are always hot.

THE IRON PRINCESS
Sandra was born somewhere in the wilds of Sweden. Surrounded by shirtless, blonde men, she learned to sail, swing a sword and skin a bear when she was only three-wait no, that was Davy Crockett.
This is way you should never believe everything you read on the Internet.
The real Sandra was raised in rural Canada. She married her childhood sweetheart (who is blonde and on occasion shirtless). They are currently living happily-ever-after along with their kids and unruly husky.

I'm a Guy of Gisborne fan and a hopeless romantic. My favorite book is Jane Eyre. (Don't get me going on it. I might not stop) I'm a movie nerd. Heck, I'm just a nerd in general, but I'm not ashamed of it. Writing is my passion, but I also love gardening and the outdoors. I enjoy a quiet life in the country.
"The Tempest" was self-published in 2010, to more success than I expected, and it continued with "My Lady Gisborne" in 2011.
Looking for the old version of "The Tempest?" Here's the link...
Now, I'm happy to announce the release of "The Baron's Lady" on Kindle, Nook, and other EBook formats. I would love to have reviews!

I write fairytales for pirates and other reprobates. There is no market for these ridiculous, perverse and occasionally poetic pirate stories, but I will take you places Barnes n' Noble doesn't have the guts to go. Hopefully, you'll laugh with us, maybe cry a little and learn something about yourself along the way.
I am a medievalist with a Masters in Literature. In print, my short stories have been published in The Antigonish Review and Mad Scientist Journal. I currently live in New Orleans where I am completing an internship in archival studies.
Sky Song Overture is available on Amazon
And on Audible as a Book on Tape
