Red Queen Fan Fic I scream and when I hit the ground, I get dizzy and see everything doubled. I here a muffled voice. My father. Something....you okay....hurt....can you hear me...? I put the butt of my hands on my head trying to refocus my vision. When I do I look up. And in that very moment I look up, I hear a crack. Not a small one; a deafening one. More wood is going to fall. On me. I don't have time or space to run or move out the way. It starts to fall and as soon as I put my hands over my head to shield myself, I feel it. Not the wood, but the electric shock. The one with no pain, pure energy. Only this time, it consumes me. All of me. My eyes are closed but I see purple. Ultraviolet purple. I feel like I put all the energy I've had in my life in this one moment. Then as soon as it came, it goes. When nothing happens, my hands still over my head, I find the courage to look up and around me. And what I see is not what I expect.

Her best friend since childhood, Kilorn Warren, has been an orphan for all his life. His father comitting suicide and his mother simply leaving him on the streets. When Kilorn gets swept up in a robbery plot of Business Tycoon, Tiberias Calore, and faces to be sued, Mare is willing to do anything. All the character, occasianal dialog from the Original Book, and plot belong to the Amazing Vitoria Aveyard, I own none of these characters. Enjoy!

An alternative beginning for Glass Sword. Everything happened so fast, in one moment Mare thought she was manipulating the two brothers and in the next she was being stabbed in the back by one of them, and in the following she was fighting for her life by the other brother side at the Bowl of Bones. They say that when the adrenaline pulses through our veins, when we are in constant danger and fighting for our lives we get anesthetized and when the adrenaline is gone, everything there is left it's reality and it hits us right where it hurts the most. Mare Barrow just saw her world fall apart, taking with it all the terrible choices and the cruel betrayals, forcing her to face the ruins. With a war about to emerge there will be many battles and she is not sure if she can win the one she has feelings for.

A modern Red Queen AU, following a nerdy teenage schizophrenic, an abusive mother, and a crippled family altogether. I guess you could say the things that go on here is family business.

I will be writing a fanfiction on the 4th and final book of the Red Queen series taking place after Kings Cage. 😔 Mare has been broken by Cal. The choice he has made will scar her for life but she must find a way to end this war as well as kill Maven, the boy who betrayed her. She is faced with choices that will haunt her but will she make the right ones?
