This story is about the quiet moments people overlook-the pauses between laughter, the spaces where something beautiful almost happens. It follows a boy whose life was once loud with warmth, then suddenly left echoing with absence. Time moves forward, but some feelings refuse to follow. Instead, they settle softly, waiting, growing, learning how to exist without answers. At its heart, this is a story about love that never asks to be chosen, about places that heal without speaking, and about hope that survives even when it hurts. It isn't about endings or beginnings-it's about what remains in between, where memory stays alive and the heart keeps learning how to wait.

On New Year's night, Noor is assigned a psychological evaluation that is meant to end with a report. Ishaan, a corporate decision-maker under review, is not looking for understanding-only judgement. What begins as a professional assessment slowly unfolds into something more difficult to measure. As conversations deepen and silences grow heavier, both are forced to confront responsibility, restraint, and the quiet cost of the choices they live with. The Evaluation is a slow-burn story about ethics, unspoken emotion, and what happens when professional distance is tested.

Title: Love Author: William Sanders Description: They were born into wealth. Raised by expectations. And quietly starved of sincerity. Charles Leigh has spent his life searching for meaning, afraid that everything he is might lead nowhere. Eleanor Sinclair has spent her life meeting perfection, afraid that no one has ever truly chosen her. They meet at nineteen-when they are already tired, already guarded, already afraid of hope. This is not a story about money. It's a story about longing. About pressure. About two people who had everything, except the one thing they were looking for. A story about finding meaning in another person. A story about love that doesn't demand perfection.

In the shadowed hours when sleep evades the weary soul, we builds altars from the fragments of a fractured world-raw free verse that confronts the ego's crushing weight and the digital haze of modern exile. Drawing from the grit of noir nights and the quiet fire of Catholic introspection, these poems unearth resilience amid PTSD's echoes, Ozark folklore's whispers, and a faith that questions yet clings to Christ's sacrifice in the stranger's gaze. Here, beauty blooms in imperfection: an outlaw's crown forged from internal turmoil, societal manipulations, and the slow, deliberate repair of a GenX heart scarred by life's dust and screen-lit nihilism. With a gravelly edge and a defiant grace, it champions practical gratitude over grand illusions-inviting you to linger at these insomniac altars, where transformation whispers louder than the chaos. Perfect for readers craving poetry that bleeds honesty, critiques the rush of progress, and finds divinity in the everyday grind. Discover the spark of one blood's cry in a collection that lingers like a half-remembered dream.

Some choose their friends wisely, some choose isolation instead, some might mix the two, most throw those all to the few who think too heavily in their heads Heavy was mine Too heavy to contain Hysteria met my libido Calamity met my psyche I was a simple man, meeting the simple requirements of a typical, nameless, speechless, worrying wreck like myself Yet distortions of the highest form came to me like moths to a flame Their arms embracing me with enticed fortunes of sex, lust, and ferocious substances Hedonism met my very being with further intent A vicious cycle that I had no say in Much to my disarray I would revel in such a change of form Vowing I'd die twice over just to relive this feeling again

I used to move through things without really stopping. Days came and went, and I let them. It was easier that way. Nothing asked too much of me, and I didn't ask much back. If something slipped away, I told myself it was fine. Most things are. Somewhere along the way, though, I started noticing how quiet moments linger longer than they should. How certain thoughts don't disappear just because you ignore them. How even small things leave behind a shape when they're gone. I don't think I changed all at once. I'm still much the same. But, it was more like slowing down without meaning to. Letting my eyes rest on things for an extra second. Feeling something soften, just a little, before moving on. And I just wonder, when something small disappears from your days, do you feel it leave?
