This is based off of a seizure I had at Walmart while I was with my sister, and the chaotic events that occurred because, of it. In addition, this is a reality I face daily and causes me worry constantly. Many people actually do not know how to act during a seizure emergency, so by writing about my disorder I hope to raise awareness.

This book will be about my life as someone living with the seizure disorder known as Epilepsy. I had epilepsy all my life and wish to share my story with those who a seizure disorder or epilepsy as well. I would also like to share my story for those who are interested in learning about what epilepsy is and so much more.

I write a lot about my seizure disorder in order to raise awareness for Epilepsy. It is so important that we understand this disorder so that a cure can be found. Being aware can save someone's life.

I write poems about different things but my main themes in this are love, climate and epilepsy awareness. They also do vary in length but I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

(Don't kill me please, I love Mikey and it would kill me if he had seizures, but the story also makes sense when it is Mikey, and this idea was floating in my head for some time now. I'm sorry if this is a sensitive topic for you, it is for me too. I feel like there isn't enough epilepsy awareness though, and I didn't know how to write it without offending anyone, so that's why I wrote it as a fanfiction.) Sometimes Michelangelo "falls asleep" when they do ninja stuff. At least that's what everyone thinks, until Raphael catches him having a seizure. Mikey thinks everyone is overreacting, but when Shredder, Casey, Donnie, and April tell him that this is more common than he thinks, he feels a bit more relieved. Disclaimer: I'm using my own personal experience with epilepsy in this, along with Ninja Turtles that I don't own. If you want my epilepsy you can take it. No? I don't blame you. 💜
