Diem Lopez, lived a normal life since birth until yesterday 17 years ago. She has normal IQ, she is not too pretty and not too ugly, she and her family lived a comfortable life in the mid-class of society, she would fondly call herself 'Goldilocks' - everything was just right. There were only 5 things that Ate Diem valued the most: -Love for everything -Heart, the literal and figurative -Words -Family -Her Diary (which I hold close to my heart every time I sleep) She always thought she was 'THE ordinary girl' and the only thing that sets her apart in 'THE extraordinary world' are her words. On that night, yesterday, 31st of June. She was told she'd die and she just said softly, "Little heart, keep beating. My mission's not yet done. I am not yet special." She never knew that she already was. For all of us, Mama Fe, Papa Deng, Kuya Carpe, Tonya, Sandro, Luis, and me - Seize. You are special to me, Ate. i've been inspired to write poems, and this is where i've decided to post them. constructed criticism is welcomed, for i am very much far from perfect and i really would like to improve. began: 10/20/2020 finished:

Just a small incident where a young bright corporate new-joinee dares to take that brave step and approaches his boss.

The year is 1959, and for its very first time, Welton Academy Boarding School is now accepting female students. Violet Ross is not only one of those girls, but the only girl in the graduating class. She feels as though she must face her fears entirely alone, until she comes across a quirky group of boys. Also known as The Dead Poets. Violet soon finds herself becoming rather close with one in particular... "I'm not entirely sure I even knew what constituted 'love,' until I had met him. Now the mere thought of him made me ache to be with him, to look at him, to touch him. I couldn't quite put my feelings into words. Even as I try, few seem to suffice. An entire sea of ink could not adequately describe my feelings towards him. It was almost as if all the stars in the sky were condensed into a single, twinkling one. The only words I felt could convey some of what I felt for him, easily fell from my lips. ' I love you, too.'"
