I had no choice but to leave everything behind, without saying goodbye. It was the only way I could ensure that I was safe. Everyone accepted that I had to leave, and no one cared about me enough for an explanation therefore they made it almost easy to leave everything behind. I didn't want my high-school crush coming and ruining that for me.
