Freshman year has a different impact on everyone. Mine revolved around this older group of friends. I became friends with them and everyone their were friends with when I started to realize they were all in band, and they were the extremely commented band people, the band geeks. ~ ~ ~ this is my first wattpad book, I'll accept constructive criticism and it's based on my freshman experience so the events are true. Welcome to my band rant! I play clarinet in my school's wonderful marching band, this one time during school... this guy insulted band... this is my reaction to that.

Ever wonder what would happen if you ran into your old High School crush as an Adult? This is that story: How was I supposed to know he'd stroll back into my life so suddenly, almost 13 years later? They say every girl has that one guy- the one that you can never erase. The one you can't even compare others to because you're too busy trying to forget him. Everyone said it was a crush- but I lost three years of my life to it. Maybe this would make more sense if I started at the beginning...

The most cliché situation I could possibly be put in? I'd probably be at the movies completely overdressed because my parents thought I was going on a date and then Hadrien Syms shows up and professes his secret love for movies, and then we go in and watch a reshowing of the Titanic and sob our eyes out while holding each other. Of course, that's never going to happen. Why? 1) My parents don't want me to go to a school dance. They'd much rather prefer I stay home and study. "Harvard-bound students don't have a need for lame dances," they'd tell me. And then I would have to correct them that I want to go to MIT, not Harvard. They're both Berkeley graduates, and apparently they think all the Ivy Leagues are the same and overrated. And that MIT is part of the Ivy League. It's not. 2) Do I even own an article of clothing that could qualify as "overdressing"? I wear dresses all the time, but they're usually from the junior section of Kohl's or Macy's. I think I only own one dress over $100, and that's my black concert gown for band. 3) I can't speak for Hadrien, but I'm not much of a movie enthusiast. I watch some movies with my friends and family, but that's at home. Movie theaters are too expensive and the nearest one is in Gold Lake. 4) The only remotely cliché part about Hadrien is that he has a bad boy image. He doesn't even smoke or drink or womanize. All he does is remain aloof, wear a leather jacket, and have a decent body. Obviously the envy of the school. Although I shouldn't really be hating, I'm the one who's had an inexplicable crush on him since eighth grade. An entry to The Kissing Booth Movie Contest. 500 words total

21-year-old Harbour Elliott is still living with her parents trying to navigate her future, she longs to know what 5 years down the road or 10 will look like. She's trusting in God to help her follow His will for her life. A family has recently moved next door to the Elliotts, Harbour seems to have trouble coming to terms that the 15-year abandoned house is now someone else's.

In this book which consist of poems, entries, and thoughts there are stones in which no one would consider to glance at but also sees a new way to treasure. This book is for those who are in need or curious. This is my atonement. How I write when I need. Now take a look--even if it were just a glance. Who knows? The words that follow may surprise you.

Ten years after they first met, Elena finds out Will is going to be married. She finds herself as one of his groomsmen and can't shake the feeling that something is off between them. Then she wakes up the morning of his wedding and finds a voicemail from him at three in the morning. Is it just a reminder of when to be at the church? Or is it something she's secretly waited ten years to hear. It forces her to retrace their decade long shared path that led them to this day, trying to figure out if she should risk everything to tell him how she feels.

I honestly forgot about this story I was writing. Apparently I wrote a couple more chapters that I never published. Comment if I should continue this story. This is the Diaries of a girl who's in marching band going through high school. There are love connections and people who are to be avoided but she gets through everyday.
