In the heart of Texas lies the town of Tempo, home to four friends, a peculiar little dog, and a band with a talent for finding trouble wherever they go. Between performing music and investigating the paranormal, the Mystery Skulls have experienced more than their fair share of strange adventures. The oldest member of the group is Lewis Pepper, a talented musician from a loving family that runs a local restaurant. And, of course, there's Mystery, Vivi's small white dog with black markings on his head and a pair of yellow shades resting on his nose. Despite his size, Mystery has a knack for being right in the middle of whatever chaos the group finds themselves in. Finally, there's the youngest member of the gang: William Dreamur, better known as Will. Unlike the others, Will divides his time between Tempo and Trolberg, a city on the other side of the world where his mother grew up. Between his family's travels and their work, he's grown accustomed to living between two very different places. But there's something else that sets him apart from his friends. Will is part ghost. When his strange abilities first began to emerge, his family revealed a secret buried deep in their ancestry. Generations ago, one of their ancestors angered a powerful magical being and was cursed to walk the earth neither wholly living nor wholly dead.
