𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇 a viscount and a lady try to find respite from their mundane lives.
────•⋅⊰༻♱༺⊱⋅•────
the lady adelia felicity de vere capell was a free spirit. born the daughter of an earl, her life was cushy and warm. when her father died, the title of earl was left to her older brother, reginald, who did not seem to care very much about the wellbeing of his little sister, choosing lavish parties in london over his widowed mother and young sister. so she grew up alone, finding solace in her only two friends, the viscount tewkesbury, and enola holmes.
the viscount tewkesbury, marquess of basilwether, didn't like the life he was being forced to lead. he much preferred plants over swords, preferred taking tea with lady adelia over learning how to punch. after his father was killed in a robbery, his family desired for him to join the military. he did not like that idea, so instead, he opted to run away with his free spirited best friend, whom he fondly nicknamed 'fliss'.
enola eudoria heddassa holmes grew up in the shadow of her brothers and her father's death. after her father passed away when she was four, she was raised by her eccentric mother. she was not given the standard education. her mother chose to educate her on science, martial arts, and literature, things most girls of her status hardly touched. she didn't have a chance to make many friends, except for one girl. adelia de vere capell. they sent each other frequent letters, detailing their recent conquests and how they spent their very boring time. they'd never met, but enola hoped to maybe pay her pen pal a visit once she found her mother again.
