Aliana, a young Erudite, is about to take the test that will determine her faction. Everything changes when she hands in a promising paper about Divergence to one of her teachers. Meanwhile, Four, who has recently become an instructor for Dauntless-born initiates, keeps a close eye on his former friend Eric. Convinced that Eric is planning something dangerous, he decides to investigate despite the risks. His search leads him to an ally as unexpected as she is valuable, hidden where no one would have thought to look. Their destinies seemed connected from the very beginning, as if an invisible force was drawing them toward each other.

My entire body and brain is consumed with feelings of anger, terror, and sadness all at the same time. However, I feel another emotion inside of me. This one surprises me, but it's there nonetheless. But due to Peter's budding alcoholism at the early age of 15, almost 16, he ends it with the warm hearted and sweet Tris Prior, stating that he doesn't deserve her. After that, Peter grew bitter, and created ambitions to be at the top (no matter what the cost), hoping to forget about her. Tris became tough, and brave, shielding intimacy with any boy in order to prevent the heartbreak she suffered. When they both find out they have picked Dauntless, they awkwardly agree to pretend not to know each other, for the sake of having to retell a painful story over and over again. Will these two former love birds keep quite and find new love? Or will their remaining unspoken feelings for each other resurface?

This takes place right after the ending of allegiant. Four and everyone all ready went back to Chicago going no with their lives. Tris comes back to life! Tris loses her memory and cant remember anything! will her and Tobias get back together? There might be some spoilers if you haven't read Allegiant yet. Enjoy! This is a Tobias and Tris one shot, after Allegiant ((I don't really know what happens after it, like all of you, but just imagine!)) They are married, and have no kids... or until now...

This story has an alternate ending in which Caleb goes into the Weapons Lab. With the exception of Al, Caleb, Marlene, Tori, and Lynn(who's deaths were unavoidable and served great purpose for the books; and Eric who I hate and just wanted to leave dead in spite of the character) none of the characters are dead. Tris and Tobias stayed in Abnegation. No doubt about it. Tris is destined to be married to Robert, have a typical selfless, Abnegation life. Just the way she was raised.
