There is always this one person that hurts you the most, leaves you with scars, and tells you a million lies. For Cassie Summers, this one person was Hailey Kendrick, her best friend that showed her how to love but took everything back at the end. So every time I would have a secret that I couldn't tell I would write it on my phone. I decided after looking through them that they were entertaining. It doesn't matter if you like drama, romance, or comedy. Some of my little secrets might interest you. I just kinda hope people with similar secrets won't feel alone. (All friends names are replaced by different names. I will be uploading 10 secrets each day)

They are complete opposites. Mandi Parks is the quiet nerd with no friends. Has flimsy wire glasses, frizzy red hair, an armful of books, and plaid pants in every color. She doesn't even try and it hurts. Jasper Michaels is the cool, confident jock with captain of football and basketball teams on his resume. Equipped with 8-pack abs, pretty blue eyes, silky brown hair and popularity. He's the total cliche guy. No, this is not a best friend story. They have never said a word to each other, or as far as Jasper knows they haven't. Mandi knows that he is way out of her league and Jasper doesn't even know she exists--well, until now. Now, is when the two unlikely students are randomly tossed onto a deserted island and are forced to work together to survive. Even though they don't know how they got here, or why, they do make a pretty good team, what with Mandi's smarts and Jasper's athletics, but they need to find out how to get off the island- and what's going to happen to them after they do. *WARNING* I wrote this in like sixth grade so it isn't very good. This is the sequel to "Burn in Water, Drown in Fire". It's after Angel's graduation and her summer before her first year in college. She plans to have an awesome time, but the only problem is that her brother's dying. His powers are taking over his nervous system, but he's thought of a cure. The main ingredients? The boys. Devin sends Angel out to find Joey, Brian, and Zac--the only other people that experienced The Drug before it was revealed to the public and fixed into a Diabetes cure. Numerous things get in her way: Joey's girlfriend, Joey's "bond" Angel, Brian's loyalty...oh, and did I mention Zac is no where to be found?

EXCERPT FROM THE STORY-- ‘Ladies first,’ said the man on stage, and headed over to the bowl. On each folded slip of paper in that glass bowl I could practically see Finch Sparks written across them, waiting to be selected. I shook that horrible idea from my head. My name on one of those little slips-one in thousands of others; there was a very slim chance of me getting picked. He lifted a slip from the bowl, unfolded it, scanned the name, and paused for extra tension. The whole world stopped to listen. ‘The female tribute for District 5 is…Finch Sparks!’ We've all heard the story from Katniss' point of view. She didn't seem to show how intelligent and fantastic Finch, or 'Foxface' as Katniss nicknamed her, really was. This is the Hunger Games from Finch's point of view.
