Denki has had a hard life. Being abnormally smart might seem like a good thing, but in reality it made everyone around him bitter and full of hatred. His father especially hated his smarts and his quirk, often times beating him for things he cannot control. One fateful day, he runs into a kid named Katsuki Bakugo, who's family ended up taking him in and made him see a new perspective on life. Mentions of abuse and depression!!!!! He reaches for the top, trying to become the next number one. All of his friends are as well, and even though they all are reaching for the same goal, they still hang out, and mess around with each other. They watch horror movies, play video games, and have their lovey-dovey moments together. But sometimes close friendships can end with a tiny mistake.
