Once they saw the whole movie from start to finish, Miyuki convince everyone to find a green Warp Pipe in the underground sewers to see if it's real. But it turns out, it was real which caught everyone by surprise. Aoi Tategami and Makoto Kenzaki are two idols who have opposite personalities, with Aoi being the Passionate and Aggressive one, and Makoto being the Gentle and Demure one. Nevertheless, Aoi and Makoto formed an unlikely friendship that turns into sisterly bond. Despite the obstacles that may ruin their bonds, they continue to fight as Precures together and save the day. The duo recruits a group with Love Momozono, Saki Hyuuga, Nao Midorikawa, Rin Natsuki and Elena Amamiya, and they named it "Go Cheerful Crew". Not long after Go Cheerful Crew is recruited, Maiya, a goddess who came from the Music World, searches for Precures to help her stop her cousin Souta, who became the Demon King due to his jealousy. With Aoi, Makoto, and the rest of GCC Casts are up to the mission Maiya gave them, they must work together to stop Souta and his organization, the Warumo Squad. During this mission, the entire GCC Casts will deal with Momona Aose, Kousuke Aoba, and the two fairies: Mary and Angelo.

In a world ruled by four nations who wielded dual elemental powers, there are 28 masks that grants the wearer the powers of mythical beasts. Each mask is grouped into four groups of seven, each being led by the mask of the Four Saint Beasts, guardians of that world. To help Sarah save the Friendship Kingdom, the whole JGS Casts must find a way to defeat Kahlil. While the JGS Casts are fulfilling the mission, Akari Hoshidera, Saku Ozora, and their fairy partners, namely Ara and Julie, step in to support them.

Meanwhile, Batty, a companion of Dokurokushe the Wizard of Darkness, appears in front of Mirai and Riko! Batty demands that Riko hand over the "Linkle Stone Emerald", which Riko herself had been looking for. To make things worse, Batty uses dark magic to create a monster known as a Yokubaru! Mirai, Riko, and Mofurun join hands. With the magic words "Cure Up RaPaPa!", their pendants shine a magical light over them! The legendary witches "Pretty Cure" are born! While living their double lives as normal middle school students and Pretty Cure, the girls go through a lot of challenges, some of them worse than others. When eventually introduced to Milk, they receive a new power to defeat the now stronger Nightmares, making them able to continue to fight. Eventually, when they have found the fifty-five Pinkies, the girls have to fight the final Nightmares, including their boss, Desparaia. Although close to defeat, the girls continue to fight until Cure Dream realizes that Desparaia has a heart like them, and through her kind heart defeats the last Nightmare. However, this also results in separating the girls from the mascots.
