Where usually either school or home are one's safe haven from the other, he can never seem to escape the abuse from either place. There's no time for friends with all his baggage. Even the idea is simply too much pressure. Vic is almost comical for believing he can get Kellin to open up. Can he save him? Or should he just focus on saving himself first? WARNING: this story contains themes of self-harm, mental illness, abuse, and more. although unfinished, i assume this story will get graphic. writing is my outlet to let out my emotions, and i've found that reading/writing about things like self harm keep me from doing those things myself. i would recommend only reading this fic if that's the same case for you. i don't advise intentionally triggering yourself. i've been there, and that's a form of self harm on its own. if these themes make you feel understood and less alone, continue. but intentionally triggering yourself helps no one. although there is comfort in sadness, there is greater comfort in happiness, laughter, nature, memories, music, all the good things that do not harm you. i love you stranger💗 quick disclaimer; with that being said above, although writing about these themes can be therapeutic, they can also be draining. not to mention that i am now a 20 yr old woman opposed to the 12 year old girl who originally wrote this, and therefore i (unfortunately) have a job and responsibilities. there will undoubtedly be big gaps in my ability to update this story, and for that i apologize in advance. this story is kind of just a side project for me at the moment.
