And maybe he does too. But things change drastically and the insanity that's been hiding in Rowen is finally coming out.

The red head continues to smiling innocently at him, "well?" he said "aren't you gonna take it? come on we haven't got all day" Karma rolled his eyes before pretending to retract his hand "but if you don't want something to cool you down, I guess-" "I'll take it, thanks" Gakushū said, snatching the cold treat from Karma's hand the red head watched with sharp, eager eyes as the sweaty strawberry blonde removed the wrapper and brought the popsicle to his lips

Ever seen someone die in front of your eyes? Well Adelaide Boro has. When she was seven years old her mom was shot right in front of her. Now she is seventeen years old and still cant stop the images playing in her head. She blamed her father for it. Why? You ask? Well it could be because he is in a mob. My bad, the leader of the mob. Yep. She has tried for years to stay away from his mob, not get close or talk to anyone. But what happens when she is told she'll have to take over her father and become the leader of the mob? Madness I tell you madness! Okay that was a little dramatic but you probably get my point. To top off the cherry pie, she's got the new kid in school, James, following her everywhere which is weird since no one really talks or even acknowledges her. She's fine with it. She is a nerd, loner, short tempered, and stubborn. Would you ever suspect such a thing to be the Mob's Daughter?

"Alec..." His name was the only word that I could force across the barrier of my lips. The lips that he'd kissed in ways that should be illegal. I tore my soulful gaze from him to Russell, who was staring at me hard, daring me to save Alec and not him. I swiveled from boy to boy--no. From man to man. Alec, my brother, Alec, my brother. My lover, or my guardian. But even I discovered that my shifting eyes were resting on Russell just slightly longer. Alec's amused voice broke the silence. "You don't take poker seriously enough." But the corner of my mouth twitched up at the reference. No, I most definitely did not.
