Chyra almost drowned when she crash landed on the Paladin's temporary base planet, badly injured and piloting a strange grey vessel. What was he supposed to do? He couldn't just let her die. Chyra didn't belong anywhere. For a while, she was simply an orphan. Then she was an assassin, then an experiment. Eventually she became a traitor. She lost her family, and was cast adrift among the stars with only a damaged robotic wolf for company. And then she found the Paladins. Then she found hope, purpose, and Refuge. (In which I add a character and rewrite most of the plot of Voltron Legendary Defender)

When the arrival of an UFO lands on planet Earth with Jessica's older brother as the pilot she figures out that what she has always believed was true. She is destined for great things. Keith hated himself for liking Lance. His limber build, the way he carried himself with shoulders raised and chin held high. His blue eyes, dark like the sea's deep, inky bottom. His tangled mess of dark brown hair that stood at odd angles, and never seemed to obey Lance's vigorous brushing. His smooth, light brown skin as he crinkled his nose, or batted the sand from his eyes on a particularly windy afternoon. Even his laugh, as loudly obnoxious as it was, Keith adored. And that was the worst part, because, unlike Keith, Lance hated him. With every word he uttered, an argument seemed to arise. Lance constantly joked and poked fun of Keith, determined to one up him in every way imaginable. So, in all retrospect, Keith had every right to detest Lance in return. But that was the thing: he didn't. Even as Lance stood before him on the worst days - face scrunched and reddened, throat hoarse from the shouting - all Keith thought as he stood stone faced, eyes locked on Lance's chattering lips, was: 'wow, I really want to kiss this shit-head.' And then he was both mad at himself and the world. Mad at himself for imagining Lance in ways he shouldn't, and mad at the world for allowing Lance to be in his life in the first place. It was torture. As powerful as a lash to the chest, or a hammer to the kneecap. Especially now, as Keith stood above Lance's cold, unflinching corpse. The dead boy's bony hands crossed over his chest, shoulders squared atop the white, velvet cushion that rested inside the opened coffin. He wore the best suit and tie money could buy, and had his shaven scalp hidden by a head of hair that was similar, but could never match the boy's old image. The image before cancer. He sat down next to the fellow five year old at the base of the trunk and tried to catch his breath. "Slowpoke." Lance laughed as he leaned his head back into the bark. "No way, your just too fast!" Keith replied as he jabbed his elbow into Lances side. "Ow! That hurt!" Lance yelped as he jerked backwards. "Hey Lance, will you promise me something?" Keith said looking at the blue sky. "Ya, what?" "Promise that you will never forget me after I leave for Texas. And that we will always be together." "Okay, promise." Lance smiled as the two toddlers linked pinkies securing their promise forever.

This is an AU about Voltron, Keith is the paladin of the red lion and never left for the BOM. Haggar curses a few of the paladins with a mysterious potion sending them in to chaos. Will they break the curse?

New school, new rules. Lance is a "criminal" at a boarding school designed to "reform" him. He gets along with two of his new classmates, Hunk and Pidge, but the other one... Well, let's just say that Lance would be perfectly glad if Keith Kogane were to suddenly be transferred to literally anywhere else. Preferably prison. But something sinister is going on in the school's forbidden hallway, and Lance will need all of the allies he can get to figure it out. And hopefully not die in the process.
