There's an odd feeling in Sasuke's chest every time he looks at Naruto. Like this balloon is expanding behind his ribcage, ready to pop and fill him to the brim with whatever it holds inside. Mildly concerning, but Sasuke's got bigger things to worry about-- like moving in with Naruto, and sharing a bed with him, and getting married to him. Which is completely unrelated to the odd chest feeling, by the way. And this thing about being gay? Be real. He's not gay. That's ridiculous! ...Right?

What if Minato and Kushina survived, allowing them to raise Naruto and give him the childhood he deserves, being the picture perfect perfect family of the 4th Hokage. But it seems leaf politics remain discoursed enough for Itachi to still murder the Uchiha clan, leaving Sasuke as orphaned, alone, and as full of hate as he originally was. Fortunately, Minato and Kushina couldn't allow Mikoto and Fugaku's poor son to fend for himself after experiencing something so horrible And Naruto would rather die than leave his (sasuke) rival alone after seeing him make such unforgivably despaired expression It seems Sasuke owes this family his life, and owes Itachi his death (Kinda inspired by Eren/Mikasa's dynamic/first meet)

Will be rewritten To protect his hometown the young boy trained to be what people call a 'ninja'. The boy grew powerful , reaching higher ranks. He became the commander of the ANBU under the Hokage's direct control. He got a mission: To go undercover and protect Uchiha Sasuke.

After a harsh fight between the two, Sasuke starts completely ignoring Naruto, leaving him to wonder if things will ever go back to the way they used to. Naruto, who has recently come to the fact that he might like Sasuke as more than just a friend, hatches a plan to help him determine what to do next or at the very least, understand why Sasuke is acting like that. Will things go according to plan, or will everything so sideways, ruining all they shared and ending in tragedy? I don't own Naruto, I'm just writing for fun :)
