We often spend our lives performing. We rehearse our smiles in the mirror, curate our personalities to fit the rooms we enter, and offer up pieces of ourselves like sacrifices all in the hopes that someone, eventually, will tell us we are enough. For a long time, I believed that my value was something I had to earn. I thought that if I could just be helpful enough, funny enough, or "together" enough, I could finally secure a permanent seat at the table. I lived in a constant, quiet state of auditioning for my own life. But grace has a funny way of showing up in the "later days." This book is not a manual on how to be perfect. It is a collection of moments where the mask slipped and where I discovered that I was being loved even when I wasn't trying to be lovable. If you have ever felt like an outsider in your own circle, or if you have ever looked at a room full of people and felt entirely invisible, these pages are for you. You are not a project to be fixed or a mess to be hidden. You are a person to be known. As you read, I hope you stop looking for the exit and start looking for the door the one that has been waiting for you to simply walk through and be yourself.

How much of who you are belongs to you, and how much was just taught? We are born into blueprints we did not draw. A collection of thoughts on the architecture of the human mind. This is a space dedicated to the painful, beautiful process of tearing down the morality we were handed as children and auditing the upbringings that shaped us. It is about the exact moment the eyes open, the illusion shatters, and the mind evolves from a passive consumer of reality into a builder of its own truth.Enter if you are ready to dismantle what you know and learn how to construct yourself from the ground up.

I have a tendency To seek out a pattern Whether behavior, objects or other I used to look at people And wonder what their color was if I could love them for who they portrayed I know what it is like to love An indigo, a plain crayon blue, a changing green and a rather lightheaded fuchsia But I wonder if, like many things I feel deeply for Are a reflection of me, of the phases I'm in I wear green as I walk towards the next one I enjoyed the depth and meaning of indigo They seemed to have a set way of them Youthful minds often over look this color too My plain crayon blue still makes me blush My very first crush, as innocent While as meaningless as one's should be The deepest velvet emerald green Tasted like they were made of pistachios While being allergic to tree nuts There's a time in one's life Where we consider bold colors like fuchsia Enjoy it from a far and wide distance I'm not sure what my next color will be I feel I have tales to tell, as old as time and lessons as often as finding a sign - Peacock green

This is a short collection of stories written by school kids during their leisure time. I take pride in letting the world know that children are the best creators. Creating good readers though being the main purpose, with writing children not only exhibit their writing skills but create situations for others to read more.
