Ang kwento ay tungkol sa isang lalaki na nakita minsan ang kanyang anghel sa isang aksidente nung limang taon pa siya, ngunit walang naniniwala sa kanya kahit sarili niyang pamilya. Kinalimutan niya iyon ngunit isang pangyayari ang nagpaniwala ulit sa kanya na totoo ang mga anghel, nung nakita niya ulit yung nagligtas sa kanya. Pero di gaya noon, natagalan siya bago naniwala, huli na ang lahat.

Without even thinking and after swallowing a lump in my throat, I forced my eyes to look in the mirror. To look at myself. The girl staring down at me is not even dressed. She's naked.. even her soul is naked. She's got a blood shot eyes, hair's like a nest, her collarbones proudly showing, her shoulders slumped. She looked like death or have faced death a moment ago. And sadly, she is me. What have I done? "Good afternoon Ma'am!" the front desk clerk greeted me. I forced a smile behind my big glasses. "Are you going to check out na po?" I nodded. "Sorry about the constant knocking awhile ago Ma'am. We were just worried because you weren't responding to the food service." "I'm sorry, too. I took some medicines so I was really out of it." Lies. "Ahh.. kaya po pala Ma'am. Bilin kasi ni Sir Junhui na padalhan kayo ng breakfast. Tsaka binayaran narin po niya lahat. You can just sign a paper here po for the official check out." The clerk handed me a pen and a paper for the check out. Gusto kong mapa nganga sa lahat ng mga narinig ko pero pinigilan ko ang sarili. The clerk doesn't even know I got left behind.
