Thanatos is annoyed with Nico, who made Hades mad at a jarring family dinner. He decides that Nico should have someone just as angry with him. Out of spite he takes the life of a camper Will was desperately trying to save. Will thought that something felt familiar about the death, but brushed it off to PTSD, he goes to Nico for comfort, it's always difficult to lose a patient. Then he talks to Nico and realizes what that familiar feeling is. Will is mad at Nico, Nico needs to get out of camp. He shadow travels to anywhere away from all his problems, and ends up in probably the most dangerous city in the US, Gotham. Oops. Now with his powers depleted, he has to try and find a way to survive in this city that reeks of death. After a few violent encounter with the locals, he finally gets some money and rents an apartment, expecting to be there for a while. Will he survive in this city of crime? Who was the mysteriously masked figure that was supposed to be dead? What is he supposed to do now? Sorry guys, this is my first fan Fic. Victor is in a cold fury and uses his intense intellect and brutal tactics to hunt down the men responsible. All the while, a nagging question hangs in the background: Does he truly want to be with Nora again as Victor? Or is he more comfortable in the role of the terrifying Mr. Freeze? Mr. Freeze is one of Batman's most interesting villains, and this story will be a new shining example of why Victor is deeply sympathetic, multidimensional, and terrifying. This is a story of revenge and redemption that will expand Freeze's world while illuminating new aspects of his character.
