Awalnya, Dira mencoba tetap fokus pada pekerjaannya. Menganggap semua itu hanya perasaannya saja. Namun semakin lama ia mulai menyadari sesuatu yang tidak bisa ia hindari. Alden memperlakukannya berbeda. Tidak lebih lembut. Namun lebih... intens. Seolah ia tahu batas Dira. Dan perlahan mendorongnya melewati batas itu. Dira tahu ini salah. Ia adalah karyawan. Alden adalah atasannya. Ada garis yang tidak boleh dilanggar. Ada batas yang seharusnya tidak dilewati. Namun setiap kali Dira mencoba menjaga jarak Alden justru mendekat. Bukan dengan paksaan. Namun dengan cara yang membuat Dira tidak bisa benar-benar menolak. Pertemuan demi pertemuan. Percakapan yang semakin dalam. Dan jarak yang semakin tipis. Sampai akhirnya Dira tidak lagi yakin apakah ia masih memegang kendali... atau justru sudah kehilangannya. Karena yang paling berbahaya dari seorang pria dominan bukanlah kekuatannya.

You will not find any hexes in this book of shadows though I will add spells that some may consider a hex. I do not work with dark magic and wish to avoid it, so you will not be finding anything of that sort here.
