If only she had of been smarter, more intelligent maybe she wouldn't be so stuck in a situation that could get her severely hurt or killed. Maybe if she had of just listened to what her daddy said to her before he got locked up, she wouldn't be stuck. If only her Mum was still there for her, maybe she wouldn't be stuck. If only she could still get help from her bestfriend or daddy, she wouldn't be so stuck, but that's what she keeps tell herself. Indie's a smart girl but made one wrong decision and it turned her life upside down. Indies had a troubled life living in the ghettos, with a dad who couldn't stay out of jail long enough to see each birthday. But what will happened when she meets someone who she thinks might be able to get her out of the hood life?

She wants loose herself in books and not in her thoughts. She wants to swim with the characters and not swim with her demons. She wants to drown herself in the comforting darckness and not not drown herself with her demons. She wants to Be swallowed by the peace and calm, and not be swallowed by the devil.

Life can seem very long at times but it's truly not, so we must live it in the best way that we can so that we never day with regret or past trauma hanging over our shoulders.
