Alex Gaskarth can't seem to keep it together. His girlfriend left him and now, he's watching his life fall apart around him as his anxiety takes over. When everything becomes too much, he goes to visit his aunt in South Carolina. All he needs is a break from touring and all the memories of the girl he can't stop loving. However, there's more waiting for him in the south than a well-meaning aunt and some relaxation. Could a sweet southern belle be the saving grace Alex needs or will he never quite recover from the wounds his ex left?

Jack was a transferee and Alex was --- an emo, suicidal dork --- a douche bag in school. Everyone would say that Alex was a curse, cause everyone who've bullied him last year were tormented. But he had claimed that it wasn't his doing. Some did believe, but eventually, the bullying haven't stop. He had been building up walls around him and he was friendless. Not until Jack came around and offered him an unexpected friendship. He thought it was hilarious at first but Jack successfully managed to break down the walls that Alex have set up for himself. Sky is Alex Gaskarth's sister, but after an argument 3 years ago they are yet to meet again. She's in a cover band: We The Rebels and is best friends with the one and only Chris Motionless and amazing friends with the rest of MIW, especially Ricky. They're so different, Alex is pop punk and she's metal. She's best friends with everyone from Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Motionless In White and Of Mice And Men. Alex is best friends with 5 Seconds of Summer and Fall Out Boy and Ghost Town. Alex isn't into the whole metal scene and Sky isn't into the pop punk and soft rock (FOB and Ghost Town) stuff, but when Warped start taking pop punk bands on and ATL are offered a place which they of course accept! What will happen when Alex and Sky cross paths or more importantly Sky and Jack? I wrote this a long time ago, when I was 14/15, a time when self harm was something that seemed to just be everywhere in my life. I apologise to anyone who read this before I put this notice here, but I'm pretty sure in every chapter there is some sort of mention of mental illness/self harm. I know I could just take the story down, but it was one of the first ever stories I wrote that I liked and completed, and although I admit now it's not great, it shows progress.
