Emmaline Longshadow has lived her life in hiding. She and her adoptive father were chased for much of her early years, before seeking sanctuary in an ancient monastery known only as the Temple of Stone. Years later, her pursuers finally catch up to her, and she must make a choice: run and hide once more, or stand and fight.
The world ended with the old Gods, murdered by the Nine, Champions of the Realms. And when the world began again, these Nine became the new gods. But in the night, a storm is brewing... and as the stories go, darkness never dies.
