Chapter 1: Combustion

With the sixth year of Hogwarts in its full swing, Draco Malfoy has an impossible task facing him. It is the task that the dark lord entrusted to him to see the final end to the great headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Draco, desperate to pay for his father's debt is bearing the burden on his shoulders of having to cope with the enormity of such task. While the reign of Lord Voldemort is looming and bringing a shadow of darkness to this year of Hogwarts, there still is a sense of unity between the students except for Draco who feels more isolated than ever. Until miss Hermione Granger enters into his isolated world, bringing newfound hopes and love along the way.
