PROLOGUE: THE STORM

Cassie is a regular country girl, living on a farm in rural Texas. She does her chores, goes to school, gets good grades and goes out with her friends. But on the inside she is slowly breaking. She's stuck on the farm, with a secret eating away at her heart.

Then, one summer's day while doing her chores, Cassie makes a discovery that would change every thing. A strange boy, with no memory of who he is. No memory of his past.

She takes him in and, while trying to discover his past, Secrets are revealed and shocking discoveries are made. One thing is for sure, neither of their lives would ever be the same.
